Owner & Clinical Therapist
Hi!
I'm so glad you're here! I know that reaching out to a therapist can sometimes feel intimidating. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to ask for help.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee and I've been offering individual therapy services in various settings since 2015. I began Signal Mountain Counseling in September of 2023 and I feel grateful to support each person I meet. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to experience belonging and to know that they matter. However you show up to your session, my hope is that you leave feeling seen, heard, and valued.
I offer a confidential and comfortable space for you to explore the different experiences or concerns you have. I believe we begin to heal when we feel secure enough to share these concerns in a safe space.

You deserve to be well.
How I view therapy:
I view the therapeutic alliance as the most important priority and collaborate with each client to identify strengths, needs and desired outcomes. I use a trauma-informed and attachment based lens when working with clients. I believe that being with and experiencing our emotions clarifies our needs, desires, and what we value the most.
I draw from various neurobiological models of therapy which recognize that corrective emotional and relational experiences in the therapeutic setting can alleviate suffering and mobilize change in the brain. Recognizing how the mind, body, and spirit are connected, I often encourage clients to pay close attention to and learn from their body's innate wisdom.
